Chris Mennes

Chris was born and raised in Torrance, California. He became interested in Real Estate at an early age and qualified for his California Real Estate Sales license at the age of 18. Chris continued his education and graduated with a Business Degree from the University of Southern California, emphasizing in Finance and Business Economics.

His Commercial Real Estate career began in 1982 when he joined W.H. Daum and Staff where he remained for 16 years before founding Gateway Business Properties,  a  full service commercial real estate firm headquartered in Gardena, California. Through years Chris has continued his education with classes in Appraisal and Real Estate Financial Analysis. He obtained his California Real Estate Brokers License in 1986.

Chris served on the Board of Director’s for the American Industrial Association for 4 years and has taken pride in developing a reputation for cooperation and ethical behavior in the brokerage community.

Over the course of his over 30 year career the focus has been on the South Bay area of Los Angeles but has served his clients throughout the state based upon their needs. He has provided his services to customers of all sizes from local credit companies,  individual investors to international companies and  some of the largest development companies in the world.

Mennes has both sold and leased real estate over the years to include almost every kind of transaction from raw land, vacant properties, ground up developments and leased investments as well as joint ventures. Chris has taken particular pride in the business relationships he has developed with many clients of over 30 years.
